Precision-Tech Limited produces variety of parts for automotive, truck, bus, motor home, military, off-highway, and industrial applications. Currently, our production and assembly operations are located in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. All of our purchased parts are procured either 1) Finished, 2) Semi-Finished, or 3) Raw. Annually, we buy about $5-7 M of material for our direct production and assembly, and another $1-1.5M for general plant operations, including tooling, oils, lubricants, coolants, and general supplies. Some of the most commonly procured materials are: Forgings Aluminum castings and extrusions Tension springs Nuts, bolts, spacers Retainer rings/plates, etc. To support our mission, we expect our suppliers to: Drive continuous improvement in their organization using tools such as, Kaizen Blitzes, Value Stream Analysis/Value Engineering, TQM, TPM, and Excellence in Manufacturing. Keep current with best practices through educational development, Dramatically reduce defective Parts Per Million (PPM) rates toward our goal of 50 or less. Our business relationship will be based on the requirements set forth in the Supplier Quality Manual as well as the contract or purchase order terms and conditions that are specific to your transaction(s) with Precision-Tech Limited.
